More Deer, More Rain, and a Mysterious Flat Tire

Quote of the Day

“No one’s really that great. You know who’s great? The people that just put tremendous amount of hours into it. It’s a game of tonnage.” – Jerry Seinfeld

The Peaks

Up at 5am and went for a run. The boys were up to work out with the football team. John was sick, so Reborn was closed and Traci slept in.

I saw another deer on my run.

I headed into the office and had a good day at work.

Turner texted that his front wheel was flat. And not just a little flat. Like, flat flat.

Coach Stidham was there to help them, and they were somehow able to get it aired up. It’s been fine since, so I have a hunch that someone let the air out. I don’t think tires just randomly get that flat without some help.

It was raining when I left work. It’s been raining so much recently, and I’m sick of it.

We had tacos for dinner. Weston had to work at the pool even though it was raining throughout the evening.

Turner and Cade had gone to Chipotle, so they were just hanging out in Turner’s room and playing on their phones.

Traci and I watched S05E03 of The Bear, then I had a small break in the rain to walk Trek.

I picked up Weston at 9pm, then headed to bed soon after.

Weston slept in the guest room since our upstairs air conditioner is no longer cooling. Roscoe Brown is coming on Friday to install a new one, so we’re just trying to make it until then.
