- The Nolensville Running Club website, which I provide hosting for, was experiencing high CPU usage. I believe someone was targeting the site with a low level traffic attack. Well, it worked. As a result, all sites on my server (around 18) went down. I battled this situation for two days straight, and had over a dozen live chats with their customer service agents. I ended up having to move the NRC site to a new server. So now I have two separate servers. I’d like to move them all to one within the next year, but I needed a fast solution at the time. This experience taught me that HostGator’s admins are very slow to respond. In my case, I kept initiating chats until I got hold of a technical rep that could actually help me out.
