Traci and I hauled my PA equipment to Ashland City to help out with Whitney’s Alzheimer’s Benefit. For the past few weeks, Whit had been concerned about the turnout for the event, and it didn’t help matters much when it started raining in the afternoon. We arrived to setup the PA around 4pm, and it was about an hour later that the first band showed up to do a soundcheck. Slowly, the crowd continued to grow until there were between 20-30 folks.
It turned out to be a pretty fun event and I was glad I was able to help out.
