Traci’s family invited us over for a cookout today, so we took the Power Wheels and let the kids chase and bump each other to their hearts’ content. Weston took a liking to Katie’s hot pink helmet!

We went down to Murfreesboro to celebrate Max’s 2nd birthday. The party started off with the festivities outside, but it wasn’t long before the rain moved in so we had to move everything indoors. We still had a great time

We had planned to go to the Zoovie tonight (movie at the zoo), but due to inclement weather and general laziness, we decided to stay in and watch a movie at home instead. The boys seemed to enjoy it, as

Vandy’s first game was against the South Carolina “Gamecocks”. We typically play well against them and this game was pretty good, even though it ended in our 17-13 loss. It’s always refreshing to get to see football again.

Vandy’s first game is tomorrow night so I stopped by the bookstore today to stock up on some new apparel. They were having a discount on black items for the “Black Out” game.

Since we’re working on a project for the Titans, we had the public announcer guy in today to do some voiceover work. It was cool to get to see him and he was a very friendly guy.

With the Franklin Classic run coming up, they have a 1 mile fun run for kids. Turner loves running, but we weren’t sure how far he could actually run. Tonight I pushed Weston in a stroller while running alongside Turner.

Weston loves to wear sunglasses on most any occasion. But he typically prefers times when they are completely unnecessary.

Tonight, Traci and I went to a Mad Men style party. The objective was to dress up like characters from the show Mad Men. Traci went with a retro hairstyle and retro dress, and I wore a skinny tie and
