I shouldn't have to tell you that I made sure that my camera and new lens went with us to NC. Unfortunately, by the time we got Turner's stuff together for the stroll through the Biltmore, I knew that it was impractical to carry my camera along with us. So, I just threw my A620 in my pocket and dealt with it.
Of course, the Biltmore doesn't allow photography inside the home, so I wouldn't have been able to use it anyways.
The Biltmore is actually a really cool place. They had an audio tour that I would make sure to listen to if we end up returning, but again, it was impractical to do with Turner. Regardless, the Biltmore is an easy and interesting place to recommend.
We spent some time on the property, had lunch at the restaurant that used to be a stable, and sampled some wine at the winery. All in all, it was a fun trip and Turner did exceptionally well. Thanks to Kim and Greg for hanging with us...I hope we didn't slow you guys down too much.
Below are the few pics that ended up on my camera at the end of the day (I think I only took two photos on this day). There's also a pic of "Baby Central" (as Traci calls it) alive and well in our hotel room.
