Traci's and my anniversary is tomorrow, so Boog has offered to keep Turner for a little bit so we can go have a nice dinner out. Traci has a meeting on our actual anniversary, which is why we aren't doing this on Thursday instead.

BoCal Update: Gun Class

Aaron, Mark, and I are taking a gun class to get licensed to carry a gun. It's something we've all been interested in for quite awhile and decided to do it before Obama takes office (for whatever reason).

Here are the details for the day:

- Doors open at 7:45am, class starts at 8:30am
- The class is 8 hours long
- Cost is $60
- There's a written exam with 30 questions and then a test out on the firing range
- We are responsible for 50 rounds of ammunition (any caliber)
- We are permitted to bring our own firearms, but we must leave them in the car until we go to the firing range. If we have no firearm to bring, they will provide us with one
- After we pass the exam, we may apply to state for our actual gun license ($115) which registers us for 4 years. Renewals are $50 for another 4 years.
