The Pits: None.
The Peaks: We spent the morning at the beach while the Tateuchis went to the local farmer’s market. They came down to the beach around 11am and took our spot. We came up for lunch and had leftover burgers and hot dogs, then rested and relaxed in the afternoon.
We dropped off the kids at the Tateuchi’s bungalow and headed out for our date night. We went to George’s at Alys Beach. It was my first time and it turned out to be my favorite meal of the trip. I got the Jerk Crusted Snapper and Traci got the Local Grouper. Both meals were delicious. Afterwards, we drove around the Alys Beach area to check it out. It’s a very cool area and I’d like to spent more time on this side of the beach next time we come.
We came back and spent the rest of the night hanging out by the pool while the kids played. Before bed, I filled out the guest book in our room (pics below).
