Hoggin’ and Faucetin’

The Pits: Spent the afternoon replacing the faucets in our master bathroom.

The Peaks: The family participated in the Hoggin’ n Joggin’ this morning. I have an issue with this race in that it makes me a bit sick to my stomach to see the people cramming food in their faces and then running. I know it’s for a good cause, but good heavens, there has to be a better way.

Traci’s team came in 2nd place, the highest they’ve ranked to date. Turner was in the top 3 for the kids’ race. I was a bit confused because I thought a girl had come in earlier than he did, but he was the one called up on stage. There was also some question about whether he had eaten his french toast stick before running, but their race didn’t seem to be closely officiated, so it’s all in good fun.

Traci took the kids to the Priestley’s pool in Murfreesboro while I worked on the faucets. Katie and the boys then put on a dance party when they returned, featuring “Closer,” “Something Just Like This,” “Turn Down for What,” and “I’m the One.”
