The Pits: Spent a considerable amount of time sitting on hard bleachers.

The Peaks: Turner scored a goal in his basketball game and his team won 17-15. Again, he didn’t know whether his team had won or lost until I told him on the way home. Weston’s game was next. He scored twice, but at the end of the 3rd quarter they were down 11-20. The 4th quarter was actually really exciting and they came back to win 21-20 in the last 8 seconds.

After their games, we headed downtown to the Vandy & Ole Miss game. We had lunch at Panera and walked to the Memorial Gym, then spent the next 2 hours on more bleachers. Vandy lost, but the boys had a great time at the game. Bonus: We scored some free t-shirts.

We got back home just in time to turn around and head to Cool Springs Brewery for dinner with the Guttings. They invited us to come over, but we were all tired. We came home and were all asleep before 9am on a Saturday night. That’s how this family rolls.
