We had a monitor on Jeremy when he came home on Oxygen. Turned it off after about 4 days. . . couldn’t take it anymore.

You know, we haven’t gotten much of a chance to use it yet. At night Turner sleeps in a bassinet beside our bed.

Since he mainly sleeps during the day, we have been meaning to try and let him sleep in his crib some so we can use the monitor (and the crib). We’ve had so much company lately it’s been hard for him to sleep anywhere for long before being picked up and held.

Today is the first day where we haven’t had any visitors during the day. So, I’ve got him sleeping in there now. At this point, it’s nice to be in another room and know that there is something monitoring his breathing and letting me know when he cries out. No false alarms (or any alarms at all). If/when we start getting those will be the real test of whether or not we continue monitoring his movement.
